AACC Guangzhou 2019 Shadowing – Kinder Li

Hello! This is Kinder Li from Hong Kong. The shadowing experience with AACC is incredible and invaluable. I had the opportunity to observe surgeons for removing kidney stones from an patient. This certainly boardens my horizon as this was the first time I could observe a surgery in real time! I learnt that in order to be a competent physician, we have to make quick and wise decision as any delay in a surgery could possibly threaten patient’s life. What’s more important is that doctors must need to work in a team setting in order to deliver the surgery efficiently. The team spirit I saw during the surgery is unforgettable. In general, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work with AACC for the shadowing experience and it certainly add something to my life!
